LIGHT of Southwest Florida is a volunteer group that recognizes millions of cancer patients are falling through the cracks at a time when they need the most help.
Although there are many charities out there, most will not help a patient who has insurance. Yet, these patients can end up with thousands of dollars in co-pays and coinsurance that they can not afford.
LIGHT is neighbors helping neighbors battle cancer through financial aid for treatment. LIGHT is 100% volunteer so money collected does go to help patients in need.
