LIGHT of Southwest Florida is a volunteer group that recognizes millions of cancer patients are falling through the cracks at a time when they need the most help.
Although there are many charities out there, most will not help a patient who has insurance. Yet, these patients can end up with thousands of dollars in co-pays and coinsurance that they can not afford.
LIGHT is neighbors helping neighbors battle cancer through financial aid for treatment. LIGHT is 100% volunteer so money collected does go to help patients in need. Please visit our About Us page to learn more about our mission, and see what the local media are saying about us.

Big news! LIGHT is preparing a cookbook, filled with delicious recipes from our volunteers, the people we have helped... and anyone who wants to help us! We're accepting submissions for cookbook receipes right now. We can use anything you might care to contribute: appetizers, soups, snacks, side dishes, main courses, and desserts.
Click here to print or download a submission form in PDF format, which you can email to us, or send by surface mail - the addresses are right on the form. Please submit your recipes by April 25th, 2012 at the latest. We will donate 100% of the proceeds from sale of our cookbook to local cancer patients!
